Peter J. Santangelo, PresidentPeter J. Mr. Santangelo brought twenty-two years of experience to Barrington Bank & Trust Company. Mr. Santangelo is responsible for business development and portfolio management for condominium, homeowner and townhome association clients throughout Midwest.
Peter is a member of various organizations including Community Associations Institute, Association of Condominium, Townhouse, & Homeowners Associations, Apartment Building Owners and Managers Association and Institute of Real Estate Management. Most recently, Mr. Santangelo was named a Certified Manager of Community Associations® (CMCA) by the National Board of Certification for Community Associations Managers. He joins many CMCAs nationwide who have mastered the fundamental knowledge to manage condominum, cooperative and homeowners associations.
Mr. Santangelo has managed relationships in several large corporate banks within commercial lending and was responsible for the sale of bank deposits, investment and cash management products. He also provided construction, bridge and interim loans and various types of consumer credit, equity and small business lending loans. Mr. Santangelo has trained new personnel in an underwriting unit and was the liaison for installment lending, interfacing with other bank branches.
Peter is a past member of the Homebuilders of Greater Chicago Association and District 220 Volunteer Tutor Program.
Frank Coleman, Assistant Vice PresidentFrank K. Coleman currently serves as Assistant Vice President of COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE® of Barrington Bank & Trust Company N.A., a subsidiary of Wintrust Financial Corporation, a multi-billion dollar holding company. Mr. Coleman has brought twenty-three years of experience to Barrington Bank & Trust Company. Mr. Coleman is responsible for business development and Portfolio management for condominium, homeowner, town home association and commercial management clients throughout Illinois.
Most recently, Mr. Coleman was named a Certified Manager of Community Associations® (CMCA) by the National Board of Certification for Community Associations Managers. He joins many CMCAs nationwide who have mastered the fundamental knowledge to manage condominium, cooperative and homeowners associations. Mr. Coleman is a member of Association for Financial Professionals and has taken courses in order to become a Certified Treasury Professional. John D. Haniotes has been involved in the banking industry for over 25 years, including the many years of bank mergers and acquisitions. John joined Barrington Bank & Trust Company in June 1999 as Vice President of Commercial Banking. At present, John serves Barrington Bank & Trust's Commercial Banking clients as Senior Vice President. He is very active in the community as a Barrington Chamber of Commerce Retail Committee Member and Board Member of the Barrington Breakfast Rotary Club.
John uses prior experience as a Personal Banking Manager, a Branch Manager and in Cash Management Services to provide his clients with quality customer service. His personal touch is unmatched, and he is strategically positioned to be a single point of contact for all of their commercial financial needs.
Jonathan D. Kolb, Treasury Management OfficerJonathan D. Kolb currently serves as Treasury Management Officer for Barrington Bank and Trust Company, N.A. and is responsible for relationship management, business development, and Treasury Management sales. Mr. Kolb is also responsible for developing new Treasury products and services.
Mr. Kolb has seven years of experience in the banking industry. Jon most recently worked with a large corporate bank as a Treasury Management Relationship Manager, serving clients of $1 million to $75 million in sales per year. Jon was responsible for developing new and existing relationships and Treasury services. Prior to Treasury Management Mr. Kolb was a Banking Center Manager which he was responsible for overseeing all operations and branch growth.
Jon has been affiliated with a number of chambers such as Barrington, Bartlett, Crystal Lake, Elgin, Gurnee, Hoffman Estates, Libertyville, Mundelein, Richmond, Roselle, South Elgin, Waukegan, and West Elgin.
Mr. Kolb is currently pursuing his BSBA and hopes to be complete by the summer of 2007. He also holds his State of Illinois Real Estate License and is a member of NAR.

Tara Delaney has 22 years bank operations and Lockbox processing experience. She has been in management for 20 of those years. Ms. Delaney has been with Wintrust Information Technology Services since September, 2001. She was originally responsible for converting all of the Wintrust Banks’ and Lockbox customers’ to imaging. Since that time, her responsibilities now include project management for converting new lockbox customers, research lockbox trends within the banking industry, customer service, and maintenance of all Lockbox customers’ accounts in addition to her staff. Her extensive experience includes facilitation of Lockbox payments processing and procedures. She also acts as a liaison between the customer and programmer in order to insure documents and import specification are in place for a smooth process and transition.
Before joining Wintrust Information Technology Services, Ms Delaney served as the Assistant Vice President of Cash Management-Operation Officer for twelve years, serving the bank in many capacities including the Lockbox Department, Bank Operations, Vault Operations, Account Analysis Implementation, Customer Service for Corporate customers and Wire Transfer initiation.
Pamela Mullen, Senior Vice President Pamela Mullen currently serves as Senior Vice President-Deposit Services Manager at MANAGEMENT ADVANTAGE® of Barrington Bank & Trust and is responsible for the Deposit Services Banking Team, including providing outstanding customer service, contact and coordination of the deposit portfolios for condominium, homeowner and town-home association clients.
Ms. Mullen has brought over two decades of customer service experience to Barrington Bank & Trust, N.A. Before joining the Community Advantage Team, she worked at a large corporate financial institution for over twenty years, serving the bank in many capacities, including branch and portfolio management, real estate lending and personal banking.
Pamela has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Elmhurst College.

Mary M. Theile currently serves as Deposit Services Banker of COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE® of Barrington Bank & Trust Company N. A. and is responsible for customer service, account documentation and administrative support for deposit portfolios for condominium, homeowner, and townhome association clients.
Prior to joining MANAGEMENT ADVANTAGE, Mary taught mainly at the high school level for about five and a half years. She has also worked as an insurance claims adjuster for two years handling/settling multi-line claims. Mary worked as a teller/trainer and personal banker at a suburban bank for over three years. Mary also has had experience as a Realtor in the northwest suburbs.
On a community level, Ms. Theile has been very active in the schools supporting the teachers and working for the referendums and redistricting. In Scouting, she has been a leader for four years and has been on the leadership committee filling the positions of Secretary and Activity Chairperson.
Ms. Theile has a Bachelor of Science in Education from Northern Illinois University.

Fifi Farag currently serves as a Deposit Services Associate of MANAGEMENT ADVANTAGE® of Barrington Bank & Trust and is responsible for customer service, account documentation, and administrative support for deposit portfolios for management company, condominium, homeowner, and town-home association clients.
Mrs. Farag has been with Barrington Bank & Trust since 1999. Before joining the MANAGEMENT ADVANTAGE team, Mrs. Farag worked as an accountant at Barrington Bank & Trust in the Controller Department and then as a Customer Service Representative in the Operations Department. She was responsible for managing wire transfers, balancing daily reconciliations for the general ledger, and handling various customer service requests. During this time, Mrs. Farag was also processing various banking services for Community Advantage customers.
Mrs. Farag has been working in the banking and customer service industry for over 20 years. Prior to joining Barrington Bank & Trust, Mrs. Farag worked as a Personal Banker and as a Bookkeeper at another financial institution.
Mrs. Farag holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Cairo University in Egypt.
Grace Lawler, Deposit Services AssociateGrace Lawler currently serves as a Deposit Services Associate of MANAGEMENT ADVANTAGE® of Barrington Bank & Trust and is responsible for customer service, account documentation, and administrative support for deposit portfolios for condominium, homeowner, and town-home association clients.
Ms. Lawler brings over 5 years of banking experience to Barrington Bank & Trust Company N.A. She started in banking as a Teller at a large corporate financial institution, and most of her career was spent as a Personal Banker at other national banks.
Grace Lawler is currently enrolled in McHenry County College, studying for a transfer to Columbia College of Missouri in Crystal Lake. At Columbia College she will be pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Sherry Hoover, Treasury Services BankerSherry Hoover currently serves as Treasury Services Banker of Barrington Bank & Trust Company N.A., a subsidiary of Wintrust Financial Corporation, a multi-billion dollar holding company. Sherry is primarily responsible for providing customer service and support for Commercial Treasury Management customers. In addition, Sherry implements and trains customers on various cash management products and services.
Sherry has been with Barrington Bank & Trust for two and a half years. Prior to her work in Treasury Service, Sherry spent her time in the commercial credit department where she focused on loan underwriting.
She has over fifteen years of corporate experience in the Treasury field. Sherry spent almost ten years at Hollister Incorporated in Libertyville, Illinois as the Senior Treasury Analyst. She was the bank liaison for the company. Her responsibilities included international cash management, foreign exchange and management of the company’s Pension and Profit Sharing Program and Stock Program.

Linda J. Schiff, Former President and FounderLinda J. Schiff is the former President of MANAGEMENT ADVANTAGE® of Barrington Bank & Trust Company, N.A., a subsidiary of Wintrust Financial Corporation, a multi-billion dollar holding company. Ms. Schiff has more than ten years of experience in commercial business development and portfolio management of Community Associations and Property Management Companies. Preceding her employment in banking, Ms. Schiff worked for an architectural/development firm where she specialized in providing customized commercial real estate services.
Ms. Schiff is a recipient of numerous awards and recognitions including first place in 1996 for Chicago’s Robert Morris Associates Annual Paper Writing Competition for her discussion on “Community Associations: Managing and Prospecting A Growing Market Niche.” In 1997 she received the LUCI Award (Leading Us In Commerce and Industry) and the Charlotte Danstrom Award, which is a national recognition by Women In Management. In 2001 she received recognition for her participation in CAI’s Leaders Lead Program. In 2002, Ms. Schiff was named a Certified Manager of Community Associations® (CMCA) by the National Board of Certification for Community Association Managers. She joins many CMCAs nationwide who have mastered the fundamental knowledge necessary to manage condominium, cooperative and homeowners associations. In 2003, Ms. Schiff received the Barbara D. Wick, CAI Service Award as presented by the Community Associations Institute Illinois Chapter.
Most recently, Ms. Schiff was named Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) by the Assocation for Financial Professionals. The CTP sets the standard in the finance profession and is a symbol of excellence. The awards and designations Ms. Schiff has received demonstrates her commitment and expertise in the financial management of the community association market.
Ms. Schiff has published articles in Common Ground, Condo Lifestyles, Common Interest, Community Management, and the Illinois Legal Handbook. She has been quoted in the Chicago Tribune and the Chicago Sun Times, and has also made national presentations on her work.
On a community level, Ms. Schiff was an adjunct professor at Elmhurst College, a Vacation Bible schoolteacher, a chairperson for the Coordination Committee of the Eleanor Association of Chicago, and a member of the Charity Ball Committee for Shelter, Inc. She has also been a guest speaker at DePaul University, Community Associations Institute, ACTHA, and other professional organizations.
